Your camera’s stopping you from making the damn video

You bought a camera. It’s a good camera. But every time you go to use it, you get frustrated and end up filming nothing.

Most people get stuck because they think they need to understand every setting before they can start. You don’t. In this 30-minute, 1-on-1 camera setup session, we’ll focus only on the settings that matter for what you want to shoot, and ignore the rest. No overwhelming deep dives. No overthinking. Just a camera that’s set up so you can press record and finally make your damn videos.

The Session

What we’ll set up together

During the 30 minutes, we’ll:

  • Set up one camera and one mic for your type of filming

  • Dial in the few settings that actually matter, and ignore the rest

  • Get your audio set up so it’s clean and usable

By the end of the call, you’ll:

  • Know exactly how your camera should be set up

  • Feel confident hitting record without second-guessing

  • Have a simple, repeatable way to film without memorising menus

Everything happens live, on the call. No prep. No follow-ups. No homework.

Who this is (and isn’t) for

This is a single, focused camera setup session. Not a video strategy call, not channel growth advice, not editing training, and not ongoing coaching.

It’s for people who have bought an action/pocket camera but get frustrated using it, or keep changing settings because they’re not sure what’s ‘right’, and just want someone experienced to guide them and say, “Do this.”

If you’re looking for long-term support, editing lessons, or help growing a channel, this session isn’t for you. Please see my Video Strategy Session instead.

This session is about one camera and one mic setup so you can finally use your gear without frustration.

If your camera is stopping you from making the damn video, this will get you set up fast.

30 minutes. One camera. One Mic. 1-on-1 focused session via video call. Not overwhelming. Only set up what you actually need. Ignore the rest.
